I'm happy to announce that SWELL has received an additional SEK 3 million from Vinnova. This means that we are funded until 2013.

Two students that have done their thesis under SWELL have now received a stipend (SEK 25,000) from Sparbanksstiftelsen Kronan. Robert Feldt (Chalmers) and Fredrik Scheja at Sogeti were supervising the students during their thesis project.

The students are:
Marium Zulfiqar
Ammad Naseer

Robert will start the new course on the 9th of September. The name of the course is: Automated Verification and Validation in Software Development


We start at 09.30 (Turning Torso, Malmö)
 
Dr. Martin Edlund will have a one day seminar on the 8th of September (Turning Torso building in Malmö). The program can be found below.

You can now register to the industry day which will take place on the 10th of Sept in Turning Torso, Malmö.

On Sept. 8-10 the annual SWELL summer school will take place. On the 10th we plan to have an open day for everyone so that people from industry can participate. At the moment we have two researchers invited:


Simon Thompson from University of Kent - who will have a talk on refactoring tools and their usage on test code.
Lionel Briand from Simula Research Laboratory - who will discuss recent research from his side.


More info will come before July so you can register well in advance.
